About the Founder
Matthew Kraft founded LevelUp Communications after nearly 20 years of public relations experience spanning agency and corporate roles. His background includes time at Stanton PR and Allison+Partners, as well as an in-house role at SCHOTT North America, giving him a well-rounded view of communications from both the agency and client side.
Throughout his career, Matthew has secured top-tier media placements in outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, USA Today, CNN, Reuters, and TechTarget — with deep experience across the technology, financial, legal, MarTech, and FinTech sectors.
Staying ahead of where the industry is headed, Matthew is AI Certified by MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a credential that directly informs LevelUp’s approach to building practical AI tools for SMB clients. He holds an M.A. in English from San José State University and a B.A. in English from the University of Iowa — a foundation that shows up in the clarity and precision of the messaging and content LevelUp produces for clients.
